Same Coach, More Flexibility

OpenAI is changing how custom GPTs work, so to comply, we’re updating how you access your AI Coach tools. This update will make the coach easier to access and use within your preferred AI platform, including ChatGPT and Claude.

Here’s what you need to know about the move, the new connection, and how to save important conversations before making the switch.

AI Coach Update: What’s Changing and How to Prepare

  • The current coach is delivered through a shared Custom GPT link which OpenAI is no longer supporting after December 11, 2026. We are preparing an update to handle coach access and work with supported AI apps.

  • No. Existing purchases will carry forward. You will just need to install the plugin via the instructions we will send.

  • Once the system is ready, we will provide instructions for setup.

  • Yes. It will work with both ChatGPT and/or Claude.

  • No, but your chosen AI platform’s usage limits will apply. The model you use may also affect the quality and depth of the AI Coach’s responses.

  • You will authorize the coaching connection within your chosen AI app and verify the email address used for your purchase. This lets the AI app retrieve Paula’s coaching guidance after your access is confirmed.

    The coaching connection does not require remote access to your computer or access to your email, cloud drive or other accounts.

    Any documents you choose to share with the AI app are handled by that platform under its own settings and policies.

  • We do not collect, view, or retain the content you share with the AI tools, including your consulting methods, questions, documents, or client information.

    We keep the sign-in, purchase, and security information needed to manage your access. We also count which coaches and tools are used and how often, without attaching your email or account ID to those usage counts.

    Your chosen AI platform’s own privacy and data retention policies apply to information you share through that platform.

  • Your previous conversations will remain available in ChatGPT, but they won’t automatically carry over into the new coaching setup. You can bring important coaching outputs, decisions or a summary of where you left off into a ChatGPT or Claude project.

    Once the new connection is ready, we’ll provide step-by-step instructions so your coach can use that information as context to continue.

    OpenAI has confirmed that existing conversations remain accessible after retirement, however, its Projects guidance says that chats created with a custom GPT cannot be moved directly into a project.
